Baltimore Youth Programs
By providing academic, social, and cultural opportunities, My Brother’s Keeper’s youth programs encourage young people to become active participants in their own lives, and pursue their dreams. Through training and facilitative leadership, we help young people understand issues connected to their own conditions of poverty, education, and lifestyle, as well as those of their neighbors. We encourage young people by:
- Engaging them in the creation of their reality and the shaping of their community.
- Exposing them to opportunities to grow and use their voice to have an impact.
- Educating them through cultural and historical perspectives about their surroundings.
- Empowering them to break isolation through connection to local and regional community governance and decision making.
Focused on ages 11 to 19, our youth programs meet young people where they are and assist them in getting to where they want to be.
