The holiday season can be a hectic and overwhelming time, but it is important to remember what matters most – family, friends, and faith. Here at My Brother’s Keeper, our yearlong mission is to provide social services and tools to inspire hope and transform the Irvington community. We could not fulfill this mission or work towards our common goal without the help of our generous donors and volunteers. For that we would like to thank all of you who have contributed to our efforts, from the bottom of our hearts, for your invaluable support. If you are not already familiar with what we do at MBK, keep reading to find out how to get involved!
Volunteering at My Brother’s Keeper
At MBK, we rely on the charity of our volunteers to accomplish our mission of serving the Irvington community. If you are interested in making a difference, please consider volunteering your time to help us with: meal services, fundraising, donation handling, and more. Get started by filling out our Volunteer Application or by emailing our director, Danise Jones-Dorsey, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please let us know what dates and times work best for you and what type of volunteer job you are interested in. We could always use a helping hand. Thank you so much to all of our volunteers who contributed to MBK’s positive impact on the Irvington community in 2016!
Donating to My Brother’s Keeper
At MBK, we aim to make the donation process as stress-free as possible. We offer several ways to donate to our efforts, including a Donate Now Online option where you can choose your donation amount, donation frequency (one-time or monthly), and preferred form of payment (credit/debit or PayPal). We also make it possible for you to leave a lasting legacy to the causes you care about through our Planned Giving – Bequests and Wills program. Lastly, we coordinate Honor and Memorial Giving so that you may make arrangements for guests at a loved one’s funeral to donate funds to MBK in lieu of flowers if they wish.
