My Brother’s Keeper is a faith-based ministry serving those in need in the Irvington community of Baltimore City.

Although we feed hot meals to upwards of 70 people a day, we’re much more than a soup kitchen. We also provide social services to break the cycle of poverty, overcome addiction, and connect people with the programs that can restore them to a better quality of life.

We believe little actions, done with great love, are magnified into something greater. My Brother’s Keeper is where a simple gift bag of toiletries restores human dignity, and where a hot meal served with a warm smile can restore hope.

Please take a few minutes to explore how we’re restoring hope … and restoring a community.

Celebrating 30 YearsCelebrating Our 30th Year,
All Year Long!

At the 5th Annual J.P. Blase Cooke Award Dinner on April 14, 2010, Fr. Mike Murphy, chair of the board of directors for My Brother’s Keeper, kicked off a year-long celebration, recognizing how far we’ve come in 30 years… and how much work there is yet to do.

We resolve this year to retire our debt. With your help, we’ll be able to burn the mortgage on the Blase Cooke Center, the jewel of Irvington, where hope has a home.

Check back here for more announcements on how you can join in our celebrations and see the results of our efforts.
