The locally organized and managed organization known as My Brother’s Keeper has been serving the Irvington community since the early 1980’s. What started as a simple place to grab a cup of coffee has quickly transformed into a stable and respectful place of haven for Irvington residents. As more and more establishments left this small community in Southwest Baltimore, the need for My Brother’s Keeper grew. My Brother’s Keeper is here to help the Irvington community through a number of different services and tools to help empower residents and to bring a sense of unity back to the area.
My Brother’s Keeper reaches out to the community and supports residents through services that include:
- Social Services
- Meal Services
- Youth Programs
- Workforce Development
- Special Events
Our organization is run by a certified and professional team of individuals along with appreciated volunteers. We hope to continue our work and reach deeper into the community where our services are needed. We strive to empower the residents of Irvington, specifically the youth. We know that the youth of the community can help with the change and we work with them to make positive life choices while turning away from destructive influences that surround them.
