More than 1,400 young people in Baltimore are living on their own without a stable place to call home

Health Care For the Homeless, Inc. estimates that at least 3,000 people in Baltimore suffer from homelessness on any given night, with 50,000 people experiencing homelessness annually statewide. Yesterday, WBAL released a report shedding some light on the increase in homeless youth numbers in Baltimore. Along with that, the lack of resources available to homeless children who aren’t accompanied by an adult. Let us tell you more about this local concern. (more…)
